Another difference of which wearable you have to purchase between a smartwatch and a smart band is when, where, and how you mean to use the device.

A smartwatch is intended similar to a regular watch. Smartwatches are appropriate for everyday usage. Some are better deliberate than traditional watches and have removable straps, like stainless steel, rubber, leather, buckle-like, etc., that you can swap for various occasions or outings.

Smart fitness trackers are best worn through sport or recreational activities and have only rubber straps most of the period. Some people wear smart bands all day; they are not well-designed for specific occasions. You may agree that you should wear a smartwatch to a business meeting or environment, not a smart band.
